Marian Brickner: Wildlife Photographer, Artist and Author

At age 55, Marian Brickner realized she had to do something to stop people from killing each other and anything that looks different. She set out to show the world through photography that, even though we all look different, we are living beings and should be respectful to each other. This goes for humans and all living things, big or small.

Marian creates visual stories by capturing the lives and behaviors of insects and animals. Her intention for these photographs and stories are to help people form a better relationship with nature so there will be less killing and more loving. It is no coincidence that she has allen in love with the "make love not war" great ape: the bonobo. (Her favorite subject, Lucy is shown in the next two photographs.)

Almost three decades after beginning her quest, Marian has published over three dozen photographic and coloring books (her Amazon link is below). Her photographs have graced the covers on internationally acclaimed textbooks, billboards along the French countryside, National Geographic Kids and Ranger Rick Magazine. Her visual stories are making many people smile. The world is a happier and better place with Marian and her stories.
